The factors which made me choose Hansraj College are proximity, rankings, faculty, opportunities and placement track record. In order to get into Hansraj College, one have to give CUET and apply for Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System and fill Hansraj College with course as a combination in preference list. The cut off marks this year were 770/800 for Gen-UR, 710/800 for OBC-NCL, 668/800 for SC.
This course aligns with my future goals to build a career in finance, that's why, I chose it. The faculties here are highly qualified and the senior faculty is best among north campus for this course. The level of term exams are medium and requires practice.

The hostel committee releases online form for the admission and releases multiple lists for admission in hostel on the basis of CUET scores. The infrastructure of the boys hostel is old and there have been internal talks regarding renovation of boys hostel and it might render it unavailable for a long while in future. The food and other amenities are good.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
