Jamia milia islamia is a central university which is ranked 3 in 2024 colleges list. It has a great degree value and is super duper cheep which is very good for the students who want to get best quality education in affordable fees . I got admission in this college by writing a 100 marks mcq exam for BPT course of around 1.25 hrs which had the cut off of 74 marks which is quite high the first list came after 2 months of exams there were no interviews in my course .
The course duration is of 4 years and 6 months of internship . There are no semester systems only internal exams and final exams with practicals . Final exams are of 1050 marks total as the subjects in first year are 10 . The faculty are all professors with decade of teaching experiences and some high profile proffesors also who were earlier the part of many big physiotherapy assoscistions. The teaching method includes ppt and verbal the exams are not too tough in the 1 year if you study 2-3 day’s before u can score good marks
No, i haven’t opted for internship as i am in 1 year only but the knowldege i gained from the seniors is that they get placed in many hospitals in delhi the duty is unpaid and somewhat quite hectic for the students
Some courses do not offer campus placement but in our course internship is given by the collegs in many hospitals of delhi and after that its upto student where they get placed as per their skilss as this is a professional course . My Persnol plans are to go abtowd after the completion of this course for better salary and other opportunities but many students prefer to stay and open their own clinics which is also a good choice . Its totally upto the students what they want to do after the course
The total fees for a year is 22000 which breaks upto 500 libraray charges, 400 sports charges, 18000 other charges, and 1800 something tution fees so total fees for the 4 year programme is 88000 something which is far lower than the private colleges who charges 800000 for complete course There are no admission fees or any other fees that is charged after admission There are numerous scholarships like allumni scholarship and other national and state scholarship but they are available after getting admission and all the students have to pay the same fee as the fee is already too low
Campus life of jamia milia needs no introduction everyone knows how beautiful and lively the atmosphere in jamia is there are many parks and canteens for students to hang out and many fest takes place from time to time in almost every month in BPT there is world physiotherapist day in months of september which includes many games and prizes than there is FOUNDATION DAY which includes kawwali and shaayris and many more enjoyable things than there is INTERFACULTY TOURNAMENT in which all students of jamia compete against each other for trophies and prizes . IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
