- Faculty is the best there is to offer and their labs are also furnished with new equipment for cutting edge research
- Infrastructure has grown significantly in the past few years and is currently growing at a really good rate. 3 lecture halls are completed with 3 more planned, student activity centre is well built, hostels are upto date.
Dislikes
- Internship drive can be better. The number of companies available for non circuital branches is slightly low
- Due to the distance from the city it is difficult to reach back to campus if you are out late at night
Remarks :
I had to qualify JEE advance to be eligible for IITs. Then we had rounds of discussions with friends and seniors and decided on the college. The deciding factors were the college location, its placement and the branch I was able to get with my rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty are highly qualified with years of teaching and research experience. They are very approachable and have numerous research opportunities in which you can contribute even as a bachelors student.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes internships opportunites are also available through campus. It is less active than the placement scene but still satisfactory. Some recruiters that visited the campus include DE Shaw, Google, Rippling , Media.net , Cisco
Placement Experience :
Placements drive is pretty active with major recruiters visiting our campus including google, De Shaw, Oracle , Zomato, Media.net etc. Each company has its own elegibility criteria which varies with respect to branch. Highest packkage offerec on campus last year wast 64LPA. I also plan on sitting for placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1,19,000 and 1,21,000 (106500 tution fees +others) for the two semesters in a year excluding mess fees. As a bachelors students hostel accomodations are mandatory. There is a very small variation in fees every year depending on some variable charges.
Campus Life :
The campus is situated at the outskirts of the city which is a sligth bummer but the connectivity to the city is satifactory. The campus is pretty huge with good facilities for sports and lesiures there are workshops and events being held to keep the community engaged
Hostel Facilities :
hostels are mandatory for all students here. An additional mess fees of approcimately 18000 per semester is charged for that. Food is satisfactory and menu is student decided and hence is changed pretty frequently. All of the rooms are single occupancy and have a balcony. The rooms are spacious.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
