I chose Hansraj College because of its good reputation. The college has a great learning environment, active student societies, and good placement offers (but mainly for commerce students ). The admission process was based on the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) score. After the results, Delhi University released cut-off lists, and I got admission accordingly. There were no group discussions or interviews for my course. Good Things About Hansraj College Great teachers who explain concepts well. Many student clubs and events for learning and fun. Nice campus with a library, sports facilities, and labs. Some Problems in Hansraj College Too many students, so the campus feels crowded. Limited hostel seats, so many students live in PGs. High competition, which can be stressful. To prepare for CUET, I studied NCERT books, solved practice papers, and took mock tests. This helped me manage time and score well. Overall, Hansraj College is a great place to study and grow.
I choose this course because I was good in physics ( atleast i think so). Solving numerical problems of physics is one of the best thing as of me. If we talk about the faculty of Hansraj college, they are too good ????. All of them have good experience in teaching field ( almost everyone have PhDs in this field). In every 5-6 months there are Semester exams ( absolutely no one loves them ????). If we talk about the difficulty level of semester exams than i can say that they are as difficult that you can get passing marks even after studying for 1 day but can't get full marks even after studying for full semester.
The year wise fees I'm paying is rs 28290/- for my course. Of course it's increasing every year by near about 1000/- rupees. Other than course fees we have to pay semester exam form fees which is about rs 2000/- per sem. During admission you have to pay registration fees which is not fixed but during my time I have payed 1500/- rs. So that's it Everyone (all category) have to pay same amount as that of me. ( except PwD, no fee) College provides scholarships on basis of merit and family income which can be from 25% to 100% fee waiver . Other than that university also provides many scholarships and financial help to the students which are from backward class.
Campus of Hansraj college is beautiful . There are open gardens, lover's point (LP in short ), gym, library, sports Complex, ground etc. Hansraj conducts it's fest in March - April month. Last year the name of fest was something like confluence.. ( I don't remember exactly because it's not fix). In Library you can get almost every book about your course and top notch novels, newspapers, magazines and many more. Classrooms and library are well organized with good furniture, AC, light and Wifi (most lovely thing?). Sports and societies are one of the best thing about Hansraj. There are lot of sports options including archery, basketball, football, table tennis, chess, volleyball and the one and only CRICKET. Lumen is one of the groups run by students. Lumen basically invites some top educators in college for conferences.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
