Exams are conducted in semester mode (May and December) with easy to moderate difficulty level in most of the subjects. A very few subjects could be called difficult.
The placement cell provides internship opportunities as well along with placements. The college also rolls out its own independent summer research internship during the summer break called SRI-VIPRA.
The placements were quite satisfactory in terms of the recession that the country is facing. The placement cell works very hard to provide students with the best opportunities. The average and median package provided is quite decent for a fresher.

The life at campus is very good.. the college shares a wall with the Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus Metro Station making commute very easy for the students. Travel by bus is also very easy. the college has its own canteen, maggie point etc. The biggest fest of South Campus is conducted every year in March, named "Nexus". Various societies like comsoc, ascend, placement cell etc are there to help students grow personally in various aspects like placements, entrepreneurship, community service etc all sorts of extra curricular activities like dance, music, outdoor games are very well supported in the college and all the facilities are also available for the same. The college also has a very big library along with air conditioned reading halls.
Hostel not opted, but heard from friends that it was satisfactory and provided good facilities to the residing students. The area near the college where students take PG or room - Satyaniketan is not well kept. I would recommend to choose a PG wisely.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
