So it is one of most popular college in punjab for most of technical courses. Fees here are also affordable for most middle class people.facilities provided are okish they need to bring new technologies .but yea they provide decent placements nd almost there is a seminar ot workships in the college about different things everyday its upon oneself that how much one can grasp.now about the admission here mostly in. Cse engineering the cut off is above 85% nd also for other courses such as bca or bba the cut of is high.but if one have any reservation qouta the chance to get selected is high. They also take exams to take admission in sikh qouta so purely sikh students can go for it .
So bca here at gndec is quite decent by both aspects fees and skills.here we are provided with labs for practicals, some teachers are really knowlegd and will help a telented student alot for. Brighter future .the over all course is not difficult at all .the midsem exams are held twice in a semester and 1 final exam is taken
Internships are being easily provided by the college . Most students get interned before there last semester for the experince in companies like bright minds ,WindowIT,webdew etc.there roles are according to there degrees
Placements are quite decent for skilled students.the maximum package was about 50 lpa in campus placment .skilled students can easily start form 12 lpa . College facility provided classes for interview preparation as well .about 70% of students get placed each year. I am also planning to get placement from here .
The fees for first year is 74539 total which has 17 thousand tution fees included of both the semesters in the year and tution fees remain same throughout the degree then total fees for 2 nd year is 66439 nd for 3rd year is 67830. The college provide total scholarship for sc students ,some scholarships for single girl child nd dome for gill village donors.they provide financial aid for students who cant afford to pay but proofs are required . The fees listed above was for general students.
The social life is overall good in here students are really humble and are ready for help, even the staff is always ready except some teachers. There are about 3-4 events in every semester starting from january there are exhibition visits then athletic meet then one of best event anand utsav then technical fests nd many more Till the end .there are so many different clubs organising a worshop or a seminar everday to provide better environment for students
I havent personally opted a hostel but some of my friends have and according to them the hostel is quiet good, clean, and mess food is good too mostly each room has 3-4 beds in it. The hostel mess is also cheap . There are many pgs available around the campus as there a re alot of colonies near the college
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
