- Friendly and easy Faculty interaction , extra curricular activities
- The faculty is very understand and cooperative. And the extra curricular activities are designed in such a manner that neither the student issues a whole day to the college, not his holidays, attendance, and syllabus suffers.
Dislikes
- At times certain lectures hold a gap of 3-4 hours
- Canteens could have lesser prices and better options and a little bit ease on students in campus after sunset
Remarks :
Easy addmission, great infrastructure for mechanical and civil engineering in all of northern India and college being equipped with the maximum number of machines giving hands on practicle experience to all kinds of practical work for mechanical students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum design was very much favourable towards enriching the students towards knowledge enough to break through the initial barriers of the job market and interesting enough for students to interacte and understand the concepts.
Internships Opportunities :
The courses on CNC operations, auto cad, solid works, autodesk inventory and catia training. Providing training for external market experts and that too either for free or even at very affordable prices in which the college pays more than 70% of a student's fee
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities provided are really impressive as the college training and placement cell focuses on providing a campus based placement in reputed companies like ITL, MAHINDRA, HONDA ETC as well as for CS, IT we have had placement in Walmart, microsoft Accenture etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Roughly around 50-58 thousand tuition fee was availaed for one semester, the fee was less for the even semesters and a fees of 12000 for hostel stay for one semester. And a sum of roughly 3000 for mess food for 1 month. The registration fees would include a payment of 21500 for academic and hostel fees including security money as well.
Campus Life :
The campus offers different experiences including all the mechanical laboratories equipped with latest as well as older machineries providing hands on experience of operating the machinaries of latest and older technologies. As for sports, the institute offers, athletic, NCC, basketball, hockey, football, cricket, tennis, badminton, table-tennis, cycling, swimming teams at inter college, university and national level. The college also has a theatre team, music team, bhangra team and indulgies in various other clubs such as an FMCRS, a community radio station having its own 90.8MHZ channel, Training and placement cell, BAHA and SAE team, ECE vision club, ISTEC club ITIAN club, hackathon teams and a club for all the respective branches as well.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess food was good, not extraordinarily well and ood enough to eat it without remorse. The fee includes 12000 for one semester and the mess fees was 3000 per month. The mess was very affordable proving breakfast lunch, evening snacks and dinner

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
