Likes
- Infrastructure is great, all the classrooms are centralised AC.
- Campus Life is great there is regularly something happening on the campus.
Dislikes
- The faculties even though great but sometimes lack proper industry ready knowledge.
- The fees for the courses is too high, the government colleges should offer relief in fees.
Remarks :
The admission was done on the basis of jac councelling and concedering my score of 98.43 percentile this was the best option for me. The jac councelling have 80% reservation for inside delhi students so for Delhi students DTU NSUT become very lucrative.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum of software engineering is the finest in all of the India, this course actually covers what we need for software developemnt in the industry like use case diagrams to java to we development in the coming years.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunities are also great from the college, even though for last year due to a slow down the number of companies for internship were very less but still if someone prepared enough they can grab an internship easily.
Placement Experience :
DTU is a tier 1 college and the placements and job opportunities are not anyway less than that, most of the top companies visit campus and give offers for both internships and placement. The average offer for software engineering usually is above 22LPA+ easily.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is variable, it keeps on increasing by 10000 each year, in the start year it is 230000 and goes to 260000, there are scholarships for eligible students for upto 90% of tution fees and 100% for some selected students
Campus Life :
Campus Life is amazing in DTU it offers everything one can ask from a college, from vibrant large scale fests to society covering almost all parts. Societies are also very active factor and because of that something or other keeps on happening on the campus daily.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not applied for the hostel but I have been there many times with my friend and the environment and rooms are not that big but are comfortable enough for anyone opening for them and the hostel live in campus is also great and a must have experience.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
