Gargi is known as one of the best colleges for humanities and literature, so when I got gargi alotted I knew what I had to do. The enrollment happens through CUET exam and if your score falls between 600-800 you can easily get in.
The literature curriculum includes reading and understanding the classics and additional subjects make sure we also learn skills and a subject to get our minor degree in. The teachers are hardworking and helpful all the time. The exams happen twice a year followed by the assessments and presentations. The difficulty level is moderate
Yes but since I'm in my first year I haven't been allotted any internships that pay a stipend yet but I've heard from other students and they're all well settled so yeah I think they do get hired and get paid
The placement cell really works hard and fast for the students and we get internship opportunity updates almost everyday. There's an internship fair conducted every year which provides placement to the students as well
Ive paid 18k for 2 semesters per year, it includes all the additional charges except the society fee. The society might pressurise you for paying the fee but it's not necessary as it's mostly useless. The fee of 18k is for SC students only
The campus has a canteen a cafe and a mother dairy to have a bite. The college holds a fest every year which lasts for 3 days and is super fun. The course books are available in the library in abundance and it has a nice ambience to study peacefully. Gargi has societies for extra curricular activities and games like volleyball football cricket and tennis are played by the girls
The canteen food is okay okay so is the nescafe's. If you're looking for something nice to eat, just go to a cafe nearby. The campus has a lot of pgs nearby and they're said to be great for students who don't live in Delhi
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
