Likes
- University library is the best thing where I like to spend most of my time.
- Students - teacher interaction is very good, utilisation of equipments and infrastructure is very well, communication with teachers are ver good, extra curricular activities are also well carried by the university.
Dislikes
- Sitting area for students in summer. There's no area for students with fan or roof. It's difficult to find place to sit.
- Although the campus is great but campus area is not very big.
Remarks :
My school senior suggested me to opt for this university they told that teacher there are very helpful and cooperative so I opt to study in dav university.And about admission process you should have atleast 60 percent marks in 12th standard to get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very detailed and updated according to industry norms and you get to know about every aspect of course in very detail manner and there are mid semester exam that examine how well you have retained the knowledge of 25 marks each subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I had done my internship at O7 services in app development and It was great experience I really enjoyed and I really got to know very much and gain experience in development of app and also they help me very much in my project on app development.
Placement Experience :
Various companies visit our university such as infosys,tcs and minimum package is around 3 lakhs per annum and highest package offered was around 10 lakhs per annum and average is around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees is around 65000 per semester and I you want to avail hostel facilities then you have to pay and extra money of 80 thousand a year.You also get 10 percent fees waiver if your previous school was dav.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very joyful. On every festival there are events.like on diwali there is diwali mela organised and also university organised event where singer come to university and sports meet is also organised every year where you can represent you departments.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are great but mess food is not good and you should prefer pg instead hostel because there are very much restriction in hostel and there is regular attendance system.you should prefer pg or flat instead of hostel.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
