No there is no GDPI. Cutoffs are very high. I chose the college because of teaching faculty and some alumni spoke highly of the college. Good aspects are that there are more than 60+societies on the college for overall development, with college canteen and several branded eateries like Nescafe, amul, naturale.
All teachers have a min. Ph.D. but some do have post-doc. They are helpful and experts in their subjects. Exams are held every semester. Additionally, there is an internal assessment test and an assignment for each subject per semester.
Yes, we opted for an internship on butterfly assessment at CEDME Delhi, to account for no. and type Of butterfly in the delhi ridge region. During covid, not many opportunities are available. It wasn't paid.
There is an active internship and placement cell of hansraj college but was not relevant in science field as most students go for higher education. There is a central placement cell of du as well. They offer internships and jobs in hr, marketing, finance, etc
It's 28000 per year and scholarships are available for meritorious and SC, ST students. Everything is included in this. Yes additionally scholarships are also awarded on merit cum need basis. So fees vary as per that.
Confluence is the annual fest of hansraj college. It receives wide and enthusiastic participation from students all across Delhi. Additionally, there is a separate food fest and annual fest for every society and department. For botany department the annual fest is Floristics, where there are creative competitions including rangoli making, slide preparations, quizes, paper presentation, photography, painting etc which are related to botany. There are 69+ societies interested in various activities like kavyanjali, kalakriti, oorja, spic macay.
No girls hostel. So I don't have first hand experience of the hostel but generally males are quite satisfied with the facilities available like the room and food. Students share their room. Hostel is alloted based on merit.




Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
