There were several perks for choosing DTU , it is in Delhi , they have good placements , a lot of exposure on various things etc. Talking about bad aspects , there aren't any major bad aspect , but it again , it depends on the student. One has to qualify JEE Main and need a have a decent score , to get a seat in B.Tech . There are several courses online where one can prepare for the exam .
I am doing B.tech in Computer Science Engineering . It was quite a no brainer for me to choose this branch , reason being my keen interest in Computer Science and they have pretty good placements here . So talking about the curriculum , it is a bit outdated , and we have subjects like physics , mathematics in our 1st year , which I find a bit unneccsesary for our branch , other that that , the faculties are well qualified , and good at teaching except a few. In a semester , which lasts for almost 6 months , we have a mid-term examinations and end-term examinations and the difficulty is intermediate.
Being in 1st year , we don't get any internships , but one can apply internships from 3rd year onwards , stipend can vary from 20000 INR a month to 100000 INR a month , depends upon the job position. But the internships are pretty competitive as not many students gets it .
Being in 1st year , we don't get to know the exact stats of placements as they are confidential . So on campus internships starts from 3rd year onwards . during placement times , big companies such as Google , Microsoft visits our college for recruitments . Average package of our branch was about 20 LPA and highest was 74 LPA . Almost 70-75% got placed this year in our branch .
The total fee that we had to pay in our 1st year including tuition fee and everything(not including hostel and mess fee) is around 1,55,000 INR , which gradually increases every year , like in 2nd year it is 2,46,000 , in 3rd year it is 2,66,000 INR and in 4th year it is 2,86,000 INR. There is no such reduction in fee for the category students , but you can easily apply for scholarships or financial aid , which gets approved in most of the cases.
One of the best part about our college is its campus life itself , we have a massive campus of size around 150 acres , we have sports complex , gym , open air theatre and many more things . There are frequent events happening throughout the year . There is an annual fest called "engifest" which happens once a year . We have a library where you can go and study , and you will find most of the books there . We have different clubs based on one's interest , most of them remains active throughout the year , some clubs are not that active .
I have opted hostel and mess , so talking about hostels , they are not that good , but they are livable , one just get used to it . We don't get air conditioned hostel in 1st year , but you can for the air conditioned hostels from 2nd year onwards . Talking about the mess food , it's not that good , the food is pretty bland , they serve non-veg two times a week , but that isn't good either . We have a lot of PG facilities right outside our college , so someone can easily consider that also.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
