Remarks :

The main reason for choosing this college was when it was 'nsit' under a different type of management, but now it's semi autonomous and semi government where the teachers and the management do what they deem is right to them despite the fact that someone else has to suffer for it, they offer no condolences. The admission process is overlooked by jac and an above average score is required to get a certain x course

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'd say most of the times the students here collectively are trying to bring down the classes themselves by persuading the faculties to not take a certain class, which gives alot of hold to the teachers without the need of them disclosing information and it's left in the hands of a student, these students don't feel obliged to be helping everyone, spreading awareness about what's happening in the course, what you need to do next semester or the ones after it, what to do after you get out of here graduated these are way too far fetched, they might not even let you know what classes are where when you're roaming around to find it inside the college.

Internships Opportunities :

The Does provide an option for industrial training on the College itself during summer if someone fails to score an intern they can just apply for the summer semester and get some kind of hands on experience and command over your field's labs. There will obviously be no stipend for that however plenty of companies just like every other tier-1,2 college do come near the placement drive to pick up some freshers (3rd-4th years) as interns and there's plenty of chance for you if you have prepared well enough

Placement Experience :

The only way to get a job or anything of that sort is to prepare in advance, 6 months to an year ahead of your time will get you a job that you'd consider taking on. There's no guarantee of being placed however that's for people who don't stick to one thing. The packages do go up but not for everyone, it'd better suit your eyes to see the placement drive where women are favoured more, cgpa is suddenly the only thing that matters, none of your friends are obliged to help you, to survive here you must be aware of what's happening around you.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee increases every batch by around 20,000 and it keeps increasing at that rate for the next 4 years you're here. There's a hefty re-registration fee of 7000-13750 for backlogs per subject. There are plenty of scholarships however available to the people who require any financial assistance but it's either merit based or the financial condition at your home.

Campus Life :

In all honesty it feels like as if everyone is just trying to make use of the fee they paid to study here after the competition, there's no personalities of people beyond their surfaces that they so carefully keep close, all the friends, aquiantance and known ones are nothing but merely an illusion of having a social life or a campus life. The condition is so bad that if no one asked anyone and the women didn't show up this whole college would collapse since they detain around 70-80% people in midsems and endsems to rack up students who failed at a new subject to keep them going or to scare them just to then lower the criteria to 60% of attendance. The societies were already dead, there's a few people here and there, who actually run it on their own dreams due to the only experience available of an experienced person is about an inexperienced person in that domain I heavily doubt succeeding in something unique or integral to you depends on how much you want what you want.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels is where you should live since there hasn't been a Student council in the last 4 years and it really important to have communal support, but to stay away from all the unwanted and depressive people you'd want to stay alone, I'd advice not making any friends untill you've seen the place and people for a year atleast and make no compromise over anything. The pgs near accomodate both women and men and are better looking than the hostel rooms but they don't offer community making, campus availability since only hostelers are allowed to enter back in campus after 6pm.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
