Remarks :
I appeared in CUET UG. And it was a very decent university according to my marks. I chose it because Bilaspur is a peaceful city and the area Koni is also great. Hostels and PGs are easily available here. The infrastructure is breathtaking. I also recommend to Join NSS because it's activities are fulfilling, non political and active. The schemes are the best such as Sarthi, Swabhiman Thali, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in law major. The law department here is popular. The faculty is good and the exam levels are medium but checking could be hard. Divided in two semesters every year. Total 10 semesters.
Internships Opportunities :
As per law dept., we were provided summer internship in legal aid cell of the dept. We can also appy for it in our own home town. We have to get a certificate. It also gets added as marks in our last semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for the whole course would be rs 48,200. At first, I paid 7 thousand 2 hundred during the admissions. There are also many scholarships provided by college and government for needy students which are helpful.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is wow. We have many opportunities to participate in extra curriculars. We have many clubs like Abhinartan (dance group), Tarang (music group ), Urchins (Drama group). These are just some of them.The university life here is unexpected and fun is at its peak.
Hostel Facilities :
Living at hostel is not suggested by me. Rules and Regulations are aching. Living outside college is much better because of time flexibility etc. Hostel students can not go home according to their wishes. They have to get an application signed by HOD etc.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
