I chose IGDTUW because of its strong academic reputation, women centric enviornment, and excellent placements. admission was through jee mains via jac counselling with no GD or PI. I prepared using mock tests and coaching. The college is great overall, though fees are rising and hostels are limited. Not to mention its an all girls college, which might be a nono for some students. Personal preference I mean
I chose Btech CSE for its future scope in tech and innovation. IGDTUW's curriculum is industry relevant with a balance of theory and practicals. Faculties are well qualified, many with phds and use a mix of lectures and interactive methods. exams were mostly on time with a moderate to high difficulty level. so best of luck. some teachers do very strict checking
im still in 1st year, so the college gives us compulsory internship under the anveshan foundation of the college only. its unpaid but is worth 1 credit in the 3rd semester. three types of programs are there from which we can choose. and its hybrid and of 2 weeks
excellent placements are the reason for this college's popularity. companies like microsoft, amazon, uber, google, adobe visit here every year offering high packages upto 60lpa. around 90+% students get placement offers, which is a lot more than other jac colleges. average package for cse is around 24lpa. eligibility includes minimum cgpa and no backlogs. roles offered are sde, analyst, and consultant. i plan to pursue a tech job and then do higher studies.
The yearly fee structure at IGDTUW is approx 1.25lakhs in the first year and then it increases by 10k every year. So the total fee structure for four year course is about 5.6lakhs. This will include tuition fee, development fees, ab charges and other charges as well. Hostels cost around 97k annually with mess charge as 44k. SC/ST/EWS students are eligible for various state and government scolarships like Post Matric Scholarship, and Merit-cum means scheme.
Campus life here is pretty much non existent. lol. We have many clubs like Enactus, techneeds, leanin, msc, gdg. Our fests are also very popular and organized annually. recently in taarangana, our cultural fest, mohit chauhan came which was a huge success. the library had ample books and journals. classrooms are okay-ish but with no ac. heard theyre installing one in every class this year so fingers crossed. sports like basketball, badminton, taekwondo are encouraged and highly popular !!
I didnt opt for hostel but i know fees is like 97k annually with mess food charges 44k. the food is like in every other college mess. youll miss homecooked food a lot. only 2 hostels, one has ac, one doesnt, so try for the ac one but the cost will increase. rooms are 4 sharing for first years, but dont know about senior years. hygiene wise its okayis but not the best. but security is good. you will feel safe in hostel and in campus both at night as well
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
