I chose this college over baut delhi iiit delhi and hindi college. The college excited me more in terms of education plus campus life as I read some reviews on zollege about relaxed college life and easy bunks possible
The Faculty at DTU for electrical is mix of good and average. Some profs are PhDs from IITs and teach nice with proper concepts, but few just come, read slides and leave. Most use PPTs, less blackboard, which gets boring sometimes. Hardly any group discussion or interaction. Problem solving also depends, some help nicely, others ignore doubts. Teacher-student ratio is okay but due to big batches, bonding is less. Some teachers are chill and help anytime, but most not very approachable. Honestly, you need to depend more on self-study and friends than faculty.
No,I did not apply for any intership nearly and as of now I am not looking for one. The college provides many intership opportunities like its own ecell branch, iifa building has intership opportunities and mba students can apply to any of them easily
The placement is better this year than last year as new companys pitched and entered the market, the average packege last year was 15 lpa for ee branch and this year is going to be 16-17 as told from dtu sources the highest is given to an cs student and ee too from uber
The course is not much affordable for average students with 10 lpa dad income but there are relaxation of fees with different types of scolarship as sc,st scheme obs scheme and the overall fees is 10 lakh in 4 years breaks in 2.3,2.5,2.7.2.9, lpa every year
Campus life at DTU is actually fun and chill. Crowd is smart, talented and mostly friendly, but yeah bit competitive. There are lots of clubs for everything – tech, drama, dance, business, literally anything. I joined SAE, E-Cell, Drama and Art Society and all gave me different vibes and learning. College organises fests like Engifest and Yuvaan which are huge, with celebs, music, dance and full night masti. Also other events keep happening all year. Campus life not just about study, you meet great people, explore stuff, and actually enjoy college beyond just classes.
I did not chose a hostel but hostels are a nightmare for first year's as non ac rooms in heat are adead end. The hostels get better from 2 nd year onwards. Location of hostels is at the start of the college so many fights also take place from there
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
