there was just the cuet written examination..then we were in cutoff competition..my category had min 513 cut off in obc for eco hons ..i prepared from youtube and ncert ..and practiced as much mcqs as i could
i choose this course as i have been interested in economics since 11th..its very different in grad level but its what i wished to study for sure ..there are sem exams every 6 months and interal examinations for 12 marks twice and theres continuous assesment for which dates are flexible they are decided in lecture takimg everyone in consideration

there is annual fest called shruti of 2 days conducted in april then there is departmental and society fests in march to april period..there is holi and diwali fest as well..the library is 2 storied occuping any and every book..sports facilities like basketball badminton volleyball are there ..ncc is active and societies like debating society and dramatics society are good ..othewr societies are dead...student run indta accounts have been now taken by the college due to protests
i havent opted for hostel however from what i hear ..the hostel is afforable there are 2 hostels one inside college and another opposite of college ..there are reserved no. of seats by course in hostel

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
