- IPCW building is one the most beautiful in DU colleges and one thing that makes it special is that all the DU colleges is in red or something else colour but this building is in totally white colour. This is made by Britishers and the performed their officially work here.
- I like infrastructure very much there is greenery in our college mostly we can find every type of plants and trees there. The area is very vast playground is too much spacious there are many lawns which make them fall in love of IPCW.
Dislikes
- Specifically I don't like anything about this college mostly like every thing but sometime like the hectic timetables make me more exhausted and sometimes the high rate of canteen food make me disappointed.
- Campus life is good but sometime the travel make us exhausted.
Remarks :
According to NEP we had to gave CUET exam which was held at the center level under which according to our marks cutoff we have assigned our college. In this college the cut off around 650 . I like this course that why during the time of making my preference list I gave this first priority. And same I also got it. I like study and interact with social issues . Because during our time this CUET system was totally new then we had to face some problems like we dont know how to get resources and prepared for this particular exam. But when I got this college because of my hard work and discipline I felt satisfied then.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I earlier mention I like this course from very starting. Although I don't have this course in 11th and 12th but still I felt interesting. When first I read that . This course gave me an opportunity to look beyond the facade because this give us that those things which is looking normal for us actually these are not normal there must be reason attached to behind it. Our faculty was very helpful they helped us in every aspect. They motivate us to join every events. They are well qualified mostly from one of the topmost universities likeJNU. They have lot of experience and exposure. Almost they have completed their PHD. They left no reason to love this course. If I will get a chance in future I will not leave this course from myself.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have applied for an internship that was offcourse unpaid. I have applied for the social work in which we have to reach the students those who don't have that much availability of resources. We teach them, try to engage with them with different different activities.
Placement Experience :
I'm from sociology and as we talk about this course . Around 31Lp is the highest and 5LP is average. About 70%students are enrolled in this course. But the thing is most of the students choose it for competitive exams. And for the further in masters and phd. But the people who got selected in official social work companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In first year we have to submit 28000 then after some students get fee waiver something like 5000 then in second year we have to submit 20000 during these period we have also submit our examination fee which is around 1000 per student. Again in fifth semester we had to submit 20710. As we are from sociology that's why we don't have to submit lab fee etc.
Campus Life :
The name of our fest is shruti and it is conduct every year in the mont of April Or may. Every we enjoyed our fest very much. Ip library is very vast there are lots of books present in our library. We don't need to run here and there there are very accessibility to find our books like journals, academics, story etc almost everything we can find here. Ip also participate in sports as well basketball, football, badminton available in this college. Also it provide the particular course in vAC sports for life.
Hostel Facilities :
I have applied for hostel and i also got it. Basically there was the form for hostel was available on the official website for ip then they see the merit list and score of the student they set some criteria to get hostel. There is two hostel in ip one is kalavati hostel that inside the campus another one ip college that is outside the college .which is 5000expensive than inside because it also provide the facility of AC. Actually I withdraw from the hostel but my friends live in this they food quality is good, hygiene is also ok.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
