My admission was done on the basis of 12th class merit. Firstly I get into Delhi college of arts and commerce but after that I got to know about 2nd cutoff list of IPCW . So I had to choose between IPCW and DCAC , my friends family all of them suggested to get into IPCW . In 2019 the cutoff was 90 percent for B.A programme for General category students
I was from commerce background, I was interested in studying Economics and management . So I choose the course B.A programme (eco + HRM) . Faculty was soo good , they dont cancel the classes without any genuine reason. They all are completed there Net and Phd.
I haven’t opted for any internships. When I was studying the covid happened so I was not place in any internship ,But if interested you can try for sure. Not very good companies but for starting it will help you grow
There was a Placement cell in our college , which provide different opportunities of internship , and help the students . You can join cell as a member or you can join the WhatsApp group where you get all the info regarding internship .
Total fee is different for different programs! My course was B.A proframme (Eco + HRM). The total fee was 26000/year . THE course was of 3 year. My other batchmates of different course fee was much lesser than our course fee ! As the other hons course student pay total of 18000 per year.
In March IPCW organise Shruti -The Annual fest of the college. In Library there are different books available, You can issue the books from library. There are different sports clubs and society like singing society ,dance society ,drama society. Where they select student after the screening and audition.
Hostel are in the IPCW campus itself . I don’t know about Hostel much but my friend told that If was good .And provide the amenities which is needed by the students . But If you want to take hostel , apply early as there are many students who apply for the hostel. And only few get into from different different departments .
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
