Remarks :
The admission is based on cuet entrance exam. If you get 650-700 marks in cut-off, then you can easily enter for this college. From academic point of view, this college is very strict because it will not tolerate students who are not serious about college/studies and didn't maintain the 67% attendance. This college is more about academics and will not compromise about it. But here students miss the kind of exposure for which North campus colleges are famous for because this is little away from other North campus colleges. But it also the part of one of the Prestigious colleges of North campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college faculty is very good and cooperative. The professors are more like friends of students who solve the queries of their students in a very approachable manner. They are highly educated and experienced and have a lot of knowledge not only in their subjects but also in other fields, by which they helps the students in guiding their career. Mostly, the entire professor has done their PhDs from very renowned universities like JNU. So those who want to make their career in academics can discuss with their professors about how to do so.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first year the fee for sociology hons is approx 28000. In second and third year it's approx 21000. Apart from course fees you have to pay examination fee in every semester which is approx 1200-1400. The university also offer various scholarship schemes for students yearly which is called as fee waiver. For fee waiver you have to fill the form in which you have to upload your some documents like income certificate. The criteria for fee waiver is based on your financial status. The fee waiver return the fee from 50% to upto 100%. From the total yearly fees which is approx 21000 rupees, the student get the fee waiver of 5000 rupees. Some get 5000, some get 10000 and even some student get full fee waiver upto 20000. This is totally based on your financial condition.
Campus Life :
The overall experience of indraprastha college for women is very good. As a one who always dreamed about studying in delhi university, the college and professors make your dream come true. Here you will experience a lifetime lessons. Also in fests seasons there are alot of fests which college organize for their students exposure. Every department has their own fest in which they organize cultural program, interactive sessions, guest lecture and many more things. Also the college fest which you experience there will live forever in your heart. College invite various renowned persons for seminars which help the students understanding.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
