- It's Green campus is superb. It feel so good while walking in campus that it can't be described
- Students are very good . They are very smart and talented. Peer is power here.
Dislikes
- It is located far away from metropolitan cities so connectivity hampers
- Students are smart so sometimes academic pressure may be there.
Remarks :
I wanted to study in top most engineering colleges of india. I prepared for it and got it through jossa councelling. Best part of iit roorkee is it's alumni network and quality of students it takes. Besides it the location is ine other major factor. For admission, you will have to give jee advanced exam .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in biology and genetics so I took this course. All faculties are highly qualified. They have completed their phd from foreign universities. They are very gregarious . They treat you like their friends and encourage you to ask doubts. Curriculum is very nicely designed and provides information about other sectors too. Each semester has 2 exams one is mid term exam and other is called end term exam .
Placement Experience :
Some company apply criteria based on cg and branches . Goldman Sachs JP Morgan Chase quantbox and graviton are some of the know companies which visit our college for recruitments. Average package is 20 lpa and hight goes like 1.5 crore per annum. Almost 80 percent students get placed..
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Each year fee is 281k. Each year has 2 semester. Odd semester has fee 143k while even semester has fee 138 k . In each semester 1 lakh is tuition fee and rest is hostel and mess fee. Students having family income less than 1 lakh get full tuition fee waiver. Students having family income less than 5 lakh amd more than 1 lakh get 66k tuition fee waiver each semester. Sc / st Students get full tuition fee waiver irrespective of their family income. Institute provide 10k rupees as mcm scholarship to almost 25 percent of it's students.
Campus Life :
Campus life is phenomenal. Campus is very beautiful. students are very intelligent and chill. Our college has cultural fest named thomso and technical fest mamed cognizance held in October and March respectively. Our central library is source of knowledge and books for us. We have best sports facilities accorss all iits. College has groups clubs and societies which are run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i live in college hostel. You get college hostel at the time of addmission. The total fee of hostel and mess is 81 k . Food is hygienic and nutritious. Hostel has all facilities like canteen and sports ground .

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
