This college is affordable, safe for girls and also environment of college is positive these factors made me take admission in igdtuw. I filled jac delhi counselling form which considers only jee mains marks and I qualified jee mains so thought to apply for it and also I did my 12th from Delhi that made me eligible for home state quota of delhi which helps to get admission at below ranks also . From jac counselling you can only take admission to delhi colleges like DTU, nsut , iiit and igdtuw these colleges are included in jac counselling. There is no such interviews or written tests for admission, you just have to fill jac counselling form and fill your choices which will be locked automatically and 5 rounds are conducted and after that if some seats are left then spot round is also conducted so fill choices carefully. And after you got your seat and you are willing to choose it you have to visit that college to lock your seat in given time which is mentioned in jac brochure.
I chose electronics and communication course because this course contains both technical and core knowledge and also because of my interest in electronics field I chose this course. Faculties of igdtuw are amazing and highly qualified some of them are iit passouts and their method of teaching is really good they are very dedicated towards their work . Talking about exams total 4 theory exams are conducted in one year in each semester 2 theory exams are conducted which are mid semester exams and end semester exam, and after mid semester exam practical exams are conducted which is ofc 25 marks ,mid sem exams is for 30 marks which is halfed if there is practical for that particular subject and end semester exam is for 60 marks . Minimum marks required to pass your semester is 45 and difficulty level of exam is not much it is between easy to moderate rarely some questions are hard it's just that you have to pay attention during your lectures and make notes as they are really important.
I haven't opted for internship as I just cleared my 1st year but I have enrolled for internship training which is provided by college itself and that helps you prepare for internship and also I learn new skills from this training like html, css, java languages and my training duration is 8 weeks and after this training is completed I have to make a project from my learnings
If there is no campus placement then students can apply for off campus placements and they can still get jobs if they are skilled my plan after btech is either get placement in good company or prepare for other exams . But igdtuw provides campus placements but there is cgpa , reservation criterias also like you have to score 8+cgpa then only you are eligible to sit in the interview. In igdtuw apple company visited once and hired female candidates for their company. Average package of our college is 20lpa and highest package is around 60lpa . Around 70-75% students get placements after getting their degrees.
I feel IGDTUW college is affordable as compared to other engineering colleges as it costs 5.5-6 lakhs for btech 4yr course . I paid 1.5 lakh for my first year which includes 5000rs as security deposit and 2000rs as alumini few and security deposit is refundable. This fees includes tution fees , student welfare, facilities, ews funds , exam fee and medical facilities fees . For hostellers they have to pay extra charges as this fees doesn't includes hostel charges. For all categories this fees remains same but after admission some companies like Amazon , flipkart provides scholarships on Students performance and they have some conditions which needs to be fullfilled like income criteria, reserved categories etc . Upto 5lakhs scholarships are provides from companies. Reliance provides upto 2lakhs scholarship to 2024 batch female students. College fees increases as you proceed further in your course around 10000rs increases every year.
Campus Life is good specially during fests college life feels so good fests like taarangana , jhilmil etc . Taarangana is conducted at the end of February and jhilmil is conducted during Diwali time and both of these are cultural fests and during these fests our college vibes feels so good . There are 2 libraries in igdtuw one of them is e library where you can access books online or on computer and another one is library where books are available and they are organised properly for all courses so you can find books easily in your course section. Ignite is a sports fest conducted in our college and there are lot of societies made for students according to their interests like soch is for arts and writing, zena is fashion society and a lot more . There is a website designed by one of our seniors which helps students get their courses notes and find pyqs and that website is IGDTUW resources which helped me a lot during my exams as 4-5 year pyqs were available there .
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
