I had scored 94 percentile which made me choose this college. I have met some people who couldn't get a good branch in DTU or NSUT choose this college because of the placements. There are no interviews. Just clear JEE MAINS and register for JAC.
Faculties are good, some teach and cover syllabus others don't. But they're cooperative. Some teach very good. Others don't teach at all. But eventually you have to learn from youtube only. So it doesn't matter.
Placement is very good. If you're from mechanical it might drop the average, but for every other branch its good. Cse and it has its own perks, they get slightly higher number of companies hiring them.
The fee is almost 1.5 lakhs a year. This year it was 1,45,500. Each year it increases by 3-4 thousand for everyone. In the first year (I'm in third year currently) I had to pay 90k for registration then 37k after it. This is for when you don't opt for hostels. Hostels have another 90k for room and 43k for mess per year.
The infrastructure is old. But cse and it classes do have AC. Mechanical department is even more bad. Social life is okayish. Other colleges like DTU have better college life. There's four fests just for the sake. But to enjoy, there's only one which is the annual fest. For college life I wouldn't join this college. But apart from that, for placements, it's a good option.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
