- The infrastructure is too good. There are wifi facility all over the campus.
- I met a lot of peoples here and they are all too humble and help me whenever I am in need
- They also provide many opportunities to the student .
Dislikes
- The teacher just read from the slides and dont teach properly
- Many teachers here dont have any experience , they started teaching after passing their degree.
- The attendance criteria is not good we have to maintain 75%.
- If a student was not able to pay for the semester fees they block the student attendance and dont open until the payment is done.
Remarks :
No, there is no such rounds like group disscussions or intervews, we just have to give the cucet exam and pass it , it was easy and scholarship is given on the basis of the marks obtained. All the formalities can be done online without going to university once.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I want to create AI and games. The faculty here is also good some are iit graduated some are nit graduate. Their teaching and guiedence helped us to look forward in our career and work hard , they are always there for aur help if we have any problem, anything related to academics or personal life they always helped us. There are 3 exams in total 2 are mid semester exam and one end semester exam, with internal assesments going on all the time.
Internships Opportunities :
No not now but the iternship opportunities is avialble in third year in which there are unpaid and paid also. If you get an internship you just have to to go for the internship and dont worry about the attendence if you get the noc.
Placement Experience :
yes placement opportunities are there and companies are coming and hiring skilled student one of my senior got a package of 22LPA and said if you are in CU and you have potential there is a good chance that you will land a good placement as the assistance here is too good and they will guide you 24*7.
Campus Life :
The life here in CU if you are willing to blend with people is good. You will met many peoples who share same mindset as you. There are lot of fests and events going on you will never fear that you are missing something. The film shootings and music video shooting also goes on and some also put an auditions.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted for the hostel and my friends are also there some in hostel and some in pg. Hostel is good and the food is also good in my opinion , they have a variety of menu. The pg here are at low cost then the hostel but the safety is there in hostels. It also have gym, barber shop and many more we dont have to go outside for small small thing everything is inside.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
