- University offers diversity of students in the environment of studies or other activities so the networking of the student not only across the country but also across the other countries.
Dislikes
- Some Faculty are not meet our expectations.
- 4 seater Hostels are scam , they are actually 3 seater.
Remarks :
Two types of Admission process either one can directly go to the university or online counselling by the counsellor after the CUCET exam or JEE MAINS, one need to appear on their Entrance exam i.e. CUCET , conduct in two phases but consider the marks of either phase-1 or phase-2 . The syllabus for the exam is Basic class 12th PCM + English (this is for CSE , subjects may differ based on the stream you choose). Once you have done with your entrance exam rest is upto the counsellor.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason of choosing the CSE core is totally my Personal Interest as this branch of engineering is taking boom in today's techie world and lots of future aspect also so yeah. Course curriculum is as similar to the other private university in the country , they also provide online courses to students but those courses are not utilize by student properly because the main motive of these courses is to get the certificates for your Resume not to grab the skills. Academics are very tight as students need to maintain the 75% Attendence for the eligibility in the semester exams , the university offers so much activity also but you don't have enough time to get indulge into that until and unless you can balance both academics and other activity work. Faculty for the CSE branch is good but not satisfy the ROI.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am in my 2nd year so University is not offering so many internship to the students till now but it make us aware about it by giving us one i.e Social Internship , but the paid internships are offered in the third year.
Placement Experience :
As the University is has the huge number of students in the particular branch i.e. CSE so it is more difficult to place all the students so the University have their criteria to sort the eligible students based on the exam i.e. AMCAT , then further placement process is same as other colleges have. Mass Recruiter are mostly come on the placement season and few other big MNCs but no more companies like Google , Microsoft and Apple. Median Package - 8 LPA Highest National Package - 54.75 LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
tuition fees - 136200 (per semester) exam fees - 2500 scholarship is applied on the basis of CUCET entrance exam (Phase-1 or Phase-2) or JEE MAINS percentile. There are further criteria from which one can avail the scholarship based on the CUCET score. In simple term, the more you score the more you get the scholarship that's it.
Campus Life :
Social life at the campus of Chandigarh University is way more exciting then it's Academic , University offers more and more opportunities in the fields like sports and other club activities. Availability of books and journal in the Library. Tech-Invent and many more fest including cultural fest of all states in India are organized by the University every year.
Hostel Facilities :
Here in campus 10 boys Hostels 6 NC Towers + 4 Zakir Towers and there are 4 or 5 Girls Hostel all around the campus. hostel is good for 5 seater i.e Zakir , little conjusted for 4 seater i.e NC. Hostel food's taste is good but they do not change their menu or do not offer veraity of food. Registration process for Hostel is by the counsellor.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
