- Maybe getting CGPA in our college is tougher as compared to others.
- Hostel food is not good. Water and food quality is also poor.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it is very academically reputed, curriculum is structured and placements are really great. My seniors also told me about the campus life which also influences my decision. Admission to this college was based on JEE Mains examination, followed by couselling process under Delhi govt known as JAC. No, there are no interviews, selection was purely based on cutt-off ranks. I dedicated 2 years in preparation for this exam. Although this college is really good no doubt, but sometimes workload is really high and exams in a short break. Administrative processes also feel slow at times.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I am really interested in coding and solving real-world problems on my own using codes. Our faculty is really qualified. Mostly are PhDs from reputed colleges. Most of them teach really good while some didnt even come for whole sem. So per sem there are 2 exams, first mid-sems which are of 20 marks each subject, 2nd end-sems which are of whole syllabus 50 marks each subject and remaining 30 marks are internal and practicals. Difficulty level is moderate. Like if you listen to your teachers carefully and attend lectures consistently then you will definately score good.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I havent opted for any internship oppurtunities as of now. But as I have heard from my seniors, internship oppurtunities are really good. Internships start happening from the beggining of 5th sem. They are very limited to 150-200 students.
Placement Experience :
I am still in 2nd year, so not much knowledge about placements. But I have heard lot of great things about our college placements. Companies put CGPA criteria for shortlisting. Top companies visit our campus. This year highest package was given by apple of Rs 72 lpa and average package was around Rs 18-19 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of the BTech program is charged on yearly basis and increases gradually every year. In the first year, the total fees is approx Rs 2,40,000 including tuition fees of Rs 77,000, university fees of Rs 97,850, student fund, facilitiesand services charges, CVPSK and examination fees. In the second year, the total fees is ard Rs 2,50,000 with an increase in tuition and facilities charges. The 3rd year fees if approx Rs 2,70,000 and the final year fees come to about Rs 2,90,000 which also includes nominal annual fund. Overall course fees increases every year mainly due to higher tuition and institutional charges, while exmaination fees remains consistent throughtout the course.
Campus Life :
In whole year 2 fests are conducted. One is the ranked in top 10 fests of college ie. MOKSHA, held in the month of March-April. Second one is kinda tech-fest RESONANCE, held in the month of October. Fests are really great. They are organised at such a great level. Famous singers of our country come in them to perform. In our library there are almost all the books and in high quantities that you may require throughout the course. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and are in good condition. Sports facilities are also good. There is a huge sports ground in our campus that provides almost all the sports. There are many many clubs run by students themselves like dance, singing, acting, tech, coding, anything you want. In all these aspects NSUT is really great and one fo the reasons I chose it.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food quality is fine not too god nor bad. Its eatable. Menu is changed every summers and winters. Registration is done by going to the hostel reception and submitting the forms which are available on the website. Hostels are quite affordable. Our mess fees is Rs 23,000 per sem and hostel fees is Rs 36,000 per sems for triple seater non AC. Hostels conditions are also just fine. they are not really good but they are just enough to survive.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
