I got this college through JEE mains exam. This was the best option i was getting after IIT. I preferred this college because of its placement and excellent reputation in delhi. Almost every company visit our college for placement. I had prepared for JEE in my drop year. The college is overall good in every aspect , just that if you are a delhi student you can get hostel very hardly.
I got this course on the basis of my jee rank. The faculty here are very much qualified while some can be rude but all of them have good knowledge and hold on the subject they are teaching. There are two semester, winter and summer sem, each lasting for merely 4-5 months, the rest time you can get free for you to develop skills. The midter are held in september for winter sem and in march for summer sem. The endsems are held in nov-dec for odd sem and in may for even sem.
The internship is also decent with avg stipened is aroung 45-60k per month and highest can go upto 2 lacs. More than 400 students did internship last year. You can go for both oncampus and offcampus internship.
The placement scenario is very good here with almost 80% of the total students getting placed each year with a decent job. The highest package can go upto 1.6 cr per annum and the average is aroun 17-18 lpa for whole batch and for tech branches it is more than 20+ lpa. Google, amazon, flipkart, attlassian and many other big companies visit out campus for placement. I will get a non tech job in Bain or Delloite.
for the first year the fees is 2,47,700 and it increases for around 30 thousand every year. the total fees of my Btech is 11,09,700. For categories such as ews,sc,st,obs there are various scholarship in DTU and also by Delhi government, you can easily get education loan from the SBI branch which is located inside the campus itself.
There are many fests throughout year going in the campus. Freshers can be held any month, but then we have diwali mela during diwali, senedo night during dussehra, yuvaan during january, the mighty ENGIFEST is held in feb end, there are two sports fest one is inter department and other one is intercollege. There are more than 1lac books in library. The sports complex is very huge around 17 acres and you can play every sports you can think of. There are many societies run by students such as Altair, Freesources, AIMS and many more.
The hostel application form is out during the july and anyone can apply for the hostel, but delhi students rarely get hostels. you can get hostel if you are 50 km away from campus then only. The food quality is good and menu keep changing each semester to keep student healthy and provide tasty food. sometimes you will not like the food but with time it becomes manageable.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them.
