- There are very limited options for course students in core companies
- The attendance criteria and this colleges very strict as we need to maintain 75% every semester
Remarks :
I belong to Uttar Pradesh so I applied to several colleges of aktu counselling but due to slightly higher rank I could not get a very good college there also there were several options but I choose this college as this was among the top IPU colleges and being in the Delhi NCR gives you as over student of other private colleges. Admission was based on JEE mains based rank counselling conducted by GGSIPU.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is nicely structured so during our course be study more than 40 + subject. Most of the subjects are all directly in Gate exams which is very essential for higher education in IIT and NITs and several top institute of the country. Our all faculties mostly they are assistant professors and currently pursuing their PHD there are also very few very senior professors who have 15-20 + years of experience. The examination schedule is very strict and it is conducted timely throughout the course. Our first sem are conducted after 2 months of starting of our course in which two units are asked from each subject. The defeat level is medium not much hard.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship are provided in various startup as well as settled company like airport authority of India ,ministry of Ayush , DRDO etc. talking about internship they are quiet less only for top 2 to 3% of the students.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are good as per a tire 2 college as more than 100 recruiter comes with various offers. The recruiters contains did forms as well as medium size and also few startups that are growing that want young talent to come. The placement criteria is having 7.5 CGPA up to 6 semester and with no backlogs this year the highest offer made is 17 lpa and also the placement season is going on so there are more packages to be expected. The average package is 6 lpa. After the getting a degree my plans is to get a job first as the market is fresh as a young talent.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college is highly economical in terms of fees compared to other colleges The fees per year is 153000 for my batch. For the complete course the fees is 625000 which is divided into four parts of 153000. Aur third year there is an extra charge of 2000 for placement registration . The fees is increasing but not for our batch for our batch it will be the main constant it had increase slightly for our juniors as consecutively maintenance charge.
Campus Life :
I am a Hostelier so I can tell better about the campus life. The annual fest is not very huge but it attracts a lot of students as it is a collectively organised by several society so also the budget constraint sometime for doing extra things but the students manages on their own. The annual fest is Aveences. Our university also conducts are very huge fest called Anugonj which is common for all universities students belonging to IPU University affiliated colleges. The library is among the best of this college as it have a lot of journals books related to every field accessible to each and every students the quantity of books is so huge that there are several multiple copies of the same book available so that we shouldn't soon not face shortage. The social groups are NSS MSIT, prakriti, ieee and Msc MSIT.
Hostel Facilities :
The food provided at hostel mess changes 6 times a week and a special food is provided at Saturday and Sunday. The food is provided as breakfast lunch and dinner. The food providing in the mess is clean as well as affordable for student. The menu is decided by the student committee itself. For applying for hostels you need to contact Maharaja Mahendra Pratap hostel at reception. Then after filling a form and paying the application fees a merit list comes for hostel based on your scores and dependency of outside students. Regular checking is done for attendance of students in class and their allotted hostels next year based on their attendance criteria and semester wise marks.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
