Remarks :
There were no as such Group discussions, interviews or written admission tests. I had only one CUCAT exam for scholorship. The admission process was simple which included online registration, booking seat by paying rupees 5000 and then just submitting required documents and paying the semester fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is great. The teachers and faculty we have here at Chandigarh University are well qualified and educated .They are well aware of the subjective knowledge and the practical trainee's are also avialable and well off with the practical subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internships yet. Companies start coming from 6th semester and they give internship + PPO .so I am in my 6th semester and now will sit in upcoming placement drives aiming for a good package and PPO offer.
Placement Experience :
The placement number is good here. My seniors have get placed and around 70% students get placed on an average. It also depends on your skills, personality and your communication skills. Companies start coming from 6 th semester
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For my degree that is B.E-CSE (AIML) we have 1,40,000 per semester and as I have got 91% in my matriculation so I was eligible for 50% scholorship which I have maintained till date in my 6th semester. Though I personally feel that the course fee is expensive but tdue to the demand and future of this course is expensive.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great here. After classes we enjoy evenings walking around the campus. We have Tech fests and many cultural events which happen frequently. We have multiple libraries with every genre of books available. We have different block for sports and extracirricular activities on the campus. Our university has represented and achieved several awards.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are 4 and 5 seater rooms which have one study table, one single bed, and an almirah alloted per student. The mess food is average and total fees for one year is 1,20,000 for hostel. I recently shifted to flat this semester and it is here itself in Kharar.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
