After scoring a good rank in the NEET UG exam, It was very hard to choose from many best collage of countries, the reason I chose this college is because of the exposure we get in Delhi, and of course, we get DU quota in NEET-PG, if I do mbbs from Delhi. For admission to this college, you have to do well in the new UG exam like iF you are from All India Quota(AIQ) you have to get a rank around 800(general), and if you are from DU quota then u can get this college at around rank of 3000(general). I prepared for the new UG from PW(online).
First of all the reason why I chose this course is- My father wants to see me as a doctor, my biggest motivational source. When u are in UCMS, you can't judge faculties -Most of the faculties are the best, and with some, you will form a bond for a lifetime. There are also some faculty like other colleges who only read slides, but I can assure you they are very less, and most are very eager to teach you. The term exam is conducted every 2.5 months, and the difficulty level is good, u can score marks if u study, nothing can anybody do if u don't study at all. From this year only there is a massive hike in college tuition fees from 7000 last year to 25,750 this year. And I don't think more fee hikes will happen shortly. Colleges don't provide any scholarship as such but you can apply for the scholarship funded by outsiders i.e, some company
Stipend opportunities is provided in the GTB hospital after the completion the course i.e, after 4 and 1/2 half year , For 1 year where u get paid around 30000/month, About tasks it depend on department in some department it is like BP measurement and in some vial collection etc.
After the end of 4 and 1/2 half ,if u passed all the proff exam then you will have to go for internship in the GTB hospital where you get paid around 30,000/month and it is mandatory internship, After the end of internship you get an optional posting in delhi government hospitals in which you get paid around 1,25,000/month but ita tenure is of only 1 year and after that you have to either go into PG preparation or you can also work in Private hospitals.
Campus life is excellent, as UCMS has the second-biggest campus in DELHI, Fests are currently suspended in UCMS, but management is trying to start this year,, there is RIPPLE(Annual fest) that happens in May-June and there are star nights and a lot of fun. The library is one of the biggest flex of UCites as it has almost all the books on the medical journey, library is wifi Equipped The classroom is very big has a large projector screen, and Fully Air Conditioned, and is also equipped with WiFi facilities. A lot of sports happen in college like Cricket, Basketball, Football, etc. There are actually a lot of societies like Innayat(fashion),Reno(dance),Manchayan(dramatics)etc The hostel is actually very good You get a single room from the very 1st year only and about the mess, it is great as a fresher,menu-idli, palak paneer, matar paneer,Manchurian, etc The registration procesa is very easy you just have to submit an application with address proof, And also you can easily find pg near college.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
