Remarks :

The main factor that made me choose this college was its NIRF which was 12 at that moment, also its placement statistics were amazing. It also had many PSUs visiting for mechanical engineering which made me more inclined towards it. The test I gave was JEE main for the entrance exam to get into this college, which also was the only test required.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the Mechanical Engineering course because many PSUs visit for placements in our branch, all the faculty have completed Ph.D. from reputed institutions like IIT but their teaching methods are very traditional and boring. Each term has 4 exams per course which are 2 quizzes, 1 mid-sem, and 1 end-sem. The courses are easy but seem difficult because the faculty don't teach them very well and don't provide sufficient study material. There is a ten percent hike in fees every year on an average

Internships Opportunities :

I have done industrial training in BEL which I got off campus, Very limited companies visit for internships. A few core roles were offered by Caterpillar for 20,000 Rs/month, also Bajaj and Exxon Mobil offered a few more roles.

Placement Experience :

Placements are decent in the core, with a 6.6 CGPA I got a 20 LPA package from Tata Electronics in my core field which is mechanical engineering. Circuital branch placements are decent but not up to the mark for an NIT. There are no eligibility criteria for placements. The few recruiters are TEPL, GAIL, MRPL, HPCL, BPCL, Wells Fargo, PWC, Citi India, CISCO, etc. The highest package was 50 LPA from Microsoft in the SDE Role. Average in 12 lpa mainly from data analytical and core roles. Around 70-80 percent of students got placed this year. I plan to work at Tata Electronics full-time.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is decent, the hostels up to the second year are horrible, but from the third year onwards decent enough, you have to register for them when you arrive on campus and they are cheap. Food is really bad, no proper outlet inside or even outside campus. The infrastructure is quite old and needs improvement, The New Sports complex is decent though. Incident and Engineer Fest are conducted in March and October respectively, No sports Fest is conducted. Sports teams are decent, I am the captain of the badminton team but no support is provided by the college, you have to fund the shuttles and tournament expenses on your own. There are a lot of technical and nontechnical clubs but all just to find a means to date and groups to drink. The library is decent with a lot of books related to engineering and classrooms are decent enough equipped with a projector but no AC anywhere.

Quality Education In Minimal Fees

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

RVU from the POV of a Student

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
