- We have to travel very less to go to class and hostel.
- some teacher are very good in there field.
Dislikes
- campus is too small, we don't have proper labs
- some professors are toxic in nature, they are more passionate about teasing student.
Remarks :
I chose it because it is a college of National Importance or NIT, and another reason is I am getting ECE here, and I was planning to opt in. No, there is no GD for admission only you have to write a jee exam and have to secure a rank under 1 lakh.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As for my experience, I found the course a little bit old and traditional with no changes, for example in the first year all have to study ed chemistry and other things which are not compatible with their course. There are several scholarship options, and you may apply for a loan to pay your tuition fees
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for the internship program yet but there are some students or my seniors who got internships. But mainly are from cse department. If you are a hardworking student you have a high chance of getting an internship.
Placement Experience :
As per the record, our college has an 81 percent placement rate. The highest package of 21lpa on campus and 34 lpa off campus, even mechanical has good placement in our college. But I want to prepare for the GATE exam.
Campus Life :
As you might know, NIT UTTARKHAND is currently working from its temporary campus which is situated in Srinagar Uttarakhand. so campus life is not good here even though we don't have proper classrooms. but hostels are fine.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
