Admission in this college is done through an entrance exam name JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) . I cleared this exam , got 97 percentile . Then according to my rank I filled up the choices in JOSAA. Councelling, I wanted ECE so I choosed this college.
I wanted to pursue my career in Electronic and Communication Engineering, so I choosed this course. Faculties here are very qualified . All of them are fromm IIT NIT . They have done Masters PHD from foreign colleges. Fees : 800000( General ,OBC NCL) Scholarship for reserved category.
Internship opportunities are also awesome here, every year around 80% students opt for internship and then convert it into PPO( Pre Placement Offer) Every year lots of companies visit here with hefty pay packages/ stipend.
Placement are also awesome. Highest package - 55 lpa ( oncampus) , 1.2 Cr (Offcampus) . Average Package ranges from. 10 lpa to 12 lpa every years. Many product based companies visit here : Flipkart , Amazon, Google, Optym, Algosec etc.
There are many fest organised here . Onw of the famous one is the annual techfest PRODYOGEEKY. Also CLIFFESTO was held where many Bollywood singers were the chief guest. Library is awesome here with lots of books . Sports facilities are superb , We have Football ground , Basketball court, Volleyball court.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
