Remarks :
I was always more intrigued by the finance area. And wanted to explore this field. Insurance being the new rising sector, sunrise industry with a cagr of more than 14%. This motivated me to take admission here and learn about insurance and risk management. I gave CMAT 2023 and scored 99.16 percentile. I applied for NIA, and gave a GD and PI round, to get admission. The cut-offs for 2024 are CAT - 75, XAT- 85, CMAT -95 PERCENTILE. The campus is in the heart of Balewadi and is a 32-acre campus. Hostels are allotted on merit-based and are charged, separately. As the college was incorporated under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and PSU such as LIC, GIC, etc. it has a great reputation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is a bit rigorous and challenging that' 's what today's companies are expecting from one. To sustain the pressure and Excel. The academic is trimester-based and has a total of 6 trimesters in 2 years, each of 3 trimesters. These include 60 percent management subjects and 40 percent insurance-based subjects. This blend gives us a better understanding of what is required in the industry currently. Helps us fulfill the demands. The faculties are state of art, teachers from the insurance industry, many are from LIC, GIC, and other PSU insurance company employees on deputation. This gives us a better understanding of concepts and a lot of on-ground experience knowledge. Practical knowledge is always shared in classes. Scholarships are awarded based on merit. 9 scholarships of 1 Lac each are awarded for trimester academic performance. Tuition fees are Rs 11,00,000 for 2 years. Hostel and food charges if opted Rs 3,50,000 for 2 years.
Internships Opportunities :
I have been opted for summer internship in HDFC ERGO General Insurance through campus placement. Location is Mumbai, Maharashtra. The internships are in the month of May and June. And are mainly for 2 months. I'm yet to start my internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements have been 100 percent since inception. Internships are also given through campus. The placement cell and placement committee works really hard to place the students. The average CTC for 202-2024 batch is 12.80 Lac and Highest Placement is 22 lacs CTC. Roles such as business analyst, consultant, Underwriting, Corporate sales and many more are offered. Internships average stipends are above 25K. Companies such as SBI general, SBI Life, HDFC ERGO, Marsh McLennan, Marsh brokers, Iffco tokiyo, Tata AIG, TATA AIA and many more.
Campus Life :
Manthan is the flagship event that happens every year. In February. Colleges across India participate and compete. Festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Shiv Jayanti, Diwali, Holi, and Christmas are celebrated. This keeps the curriculum healthy keeps students active and helps in socializing. Sports Week is held in January every year, it pushes students to showcase their talent and skills, not just physical but mental skills. There are many committee's which are formed to handle these kinds of activities. There's also an entrepreneur and innovation committee. The Library of NIA has a whopping versatile collection of books. To get a hostel one has to be on the merit list. Allocation is based solely on merit. Hostel is the cheapest option as the food quality and stay is good. Since Balewadi is an expensive area, rent outside is quite high. Pgs are available near the college.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced.
