- Campus- lush green seneric campus view away from the hustle of city.
- Faculty-the faculty members are very supportive and passionate about teaching.
Dislikes
- Campus life-due to high standard people some middle class people can feel missing out in them.
- Infrastructure-as per the fees the infrastructure is average and classes are also not so high tech.
Remarks :
I took admission because of its high placement factor and seneric view of college in lush green mountains valley of dehradun. As i gave jee exan and scored above 60 percentile required for upes criteria . Other criteria to take admission in upes is through clearing cuet exam or upes entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i want to get in microsoft. Almost all faculties have completed their phd and most of the faculties are graduated from nit or big colleges. So there are 2 exams held mid term and end term and examination level is moderate. No doubt upes is expensive bit it is worth ut if you study hard and set your goals. There are many scholarships but you can avail only one . Scolarships: Uttarakhand domicile scholarship Sports scholarship Scholarship on basis of 12th exam and cuet
Internships Opportunities :
As i am a first year student so i have not opted for any internship. But after completing my first year there is a compulsary social internship for all students in summer vaccation offered by the university.
Placement Experience :
7.5cgpa is the criteria for sitting in placement with no back . Microsoft is the highest recruiter in the campus with the campus placement of 50 lakh. Avg package is 6 lakh.100 percent placemdnt record till now. Moreover after graduation also in your whole lifetime you can apply for campus placement anytime. It offers lifetime placement. Obviously my dream is to work in micdosoft and if i got lucky that's my plan after completing my degree
Campus Life :
So freshees party is held in end seprember. And upes biggest fest urja [celebrity night] held in november where darshan rawal performed live and there are many more fest like spandan ,sufi night for eid where nazim brothers perform this year. Almost all books are available in library and the environment of library is quite good and silent. So upes gives some extra efforts in sports it has its own team . Sport fest ojsav is biggest sports fest of upes in which games like cricket ,basketball,badminton etc. Players participated . There are various clubs in upes:- Upescsa -club related toomputer science technology Nss club-related to social programs Sports club , adventure club , dramatics club and many more. i am the native of dehradun so i live in my house but from my friend i knew that living expense inhostel is about 1.65 lakh inside the hostel and pg is about 5000 per month.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
