- The hostels, buildings, and especially, the auditorium is amazing
- The faculty is very co-operative, they guide us very well.
Dislikes
- The plantation is an issue, there is greenery but not near the residential area.
- The campus is at 30kms from bhubaneshwar.
Remarks :
The admission process is getting a rank in JEE ADVANCED, after that, you apply from JOSAA, a councelling website for JEE, and thats it. No more admission tests. For JEE ADVANCED, you have to prepare really hard, and if you ask me, thats worth it coming here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is same as any IIT CSE, a bit old compared to other private colleges as BITS, or IIIT for instance, but its good. For example, all the students irrespective of their branches have to study the same syllabus in the first year. 2 sets of exams per semester. Midsem and endsem.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet, as i am still in first year, but from the third year, the campus itself assigns you an internship, so need to worry about that. And the companies are MNCs too, so very good exposure. If you are eager, then you can apply in the second year itself, the chances are low, but there are students who did good in their second year internships too
Placement Experience :
As i am a first year student, i didnt get any placement/ internship, but i know that the highest package is 65lac per annum. And the average is pretty great too. CSE tops the list, but electrical students got 55lac as well, so its good
Campus Life :
As it is an IIT, the campus life is great, we have 4 fests, aswamedha- sports fest. Alma fiesta- cultural fest. Wissenaire- tech fest. E summit- entreprenural fest. And they are great. We have lots of societies and clubs. We have a student gymkhana, they manage everything, we elect our own secreteries. And its great. The only problem is the hostel food, the price for 1 semester is 18000. Which is cheap for both accomodation and food, but the food is not great, but the hostels are really good, single room for each student.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
