- I like the campus life with friends, the hostel life and the campus roaming with cycles.
- I like the curriculum as they give almost 4 months holidays each year
Dislikes
- See some of the subjects I really disliked and find it very difficult to study them.
- Sometimes the roads are a bit sloppy and very difficult to ride cycle for longer distance and also it is not in Bhubaneswar. So it is far from city.

Yeah, I have cleared Jee Advance with a rank of 15115, and I was getting civil as per jossa counseling in iit bbs, I had other choices but iit bbs was best cause of its evergreen campus and larger campus area(3rd largest), I have seen the placements records also and they were good enough, closer to my home state (Bihar).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected my course in civil engineering because I made many choices in Jossaa and anyhow iits had its reputation which is visible after coming here. What can I say about the faculties, they were always on time that is a small thing but the way of teaching itself is fascinating as they are available for every kind of student for the toppers and for the ones who just have a particular interest in a particular subject. The syllabus is completed almost 10 days before exams and yeah my 1st year is going to be completed in 8 months. The papers were easier to pass not that easy, you need to study properly but it is not that difficult but to get the highest you need to fast for that purpose it is difficult but class notes, assignments, and some YouTube videos will work. there are scholarships like 66% reduced tuition fees for students whose family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh and 100% for those whose family income is less than 1 lakh.
Campus Life :
You know this is iit so it will be having a great socio-cultural practice, and so is here. There are 10 societies including singing dancing film making, art literature etc. I was in Cinewave the film-making society and currently in Abhivyakti the Hindi literature society. This year only we hosted our techno-management fest wissenaire for 3 days and dhvani Bhanushali was there for star night singing and dancing. Infrastructure is great for every branch there is a dedicated school and it's building. Hostels you will not get like here in any iits as they are having single rooms with mess in the hostel only. Mess food is good as they focus more on health compared to taste, there is a special dinner every month, nonveg food is there 3 times a week. The only issue is the distance of schools from hostels. It's nearly 1.5 km on average and you must have a cycle for that.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
