It has a good environment overall in academics better placement options and the admission process is smooth. Teachers are also good but they lack practical knowledge focus more on attendance than self study have no scope for sports
I chose computer science as per the trend and got enrolled in University. Teachers are good and know how to teach except a few, they are caring towards students but also very strict towards rules so if you are good in the eye of a teacher you can have some perks over others but they will never stretch the rules for students Exams and cycle tests are always conducted on time we never faced delays in semester examinations despite having many extracurricular functions such as avyakt or hackathon so delay in getting a degree is not a problem here. The difficulty level of the exam is not so hard you can pass easily if you study seriously even for two days before the exam except for some subjects but if you do not study then it's hard some teachers check the papers very thoroughly and at least 10 -15 percentage student in every class have 1 or 2 backlogs so it depends on students. It follows the same national-level hike policy in fees and does not charge extra so nothing to worry about there. hope it helps
Yes we had internship with Lagazone in our college and power bi study our college also had a cyber security internship so it provided a good internship and experience but there is no stipend as far as I know I don't know about future
Placement opportunities are good if you are committed to college and follow their saying, companies come and select styde6vased in eligibility, average package is around 6-7 lakh per annum and the highest is 14 lakh
I have a hostel room and it's very close to class under 200 meters so it's really easy to wake up in the morning and attend class and it has a great natural view great environment surrounded by mountains..during summer it may cause you a little trouble as you can not sleep due to sweet and hot air flow all day temperature rises to 45 degree in noon but in winter season you will not feel any cold and can walk in half shirt in midnight. GIET has many clubs dedicated to many courses like pdsc club for personality development gods club for Google cider, the cybersecurity club for students interested in cyber career and it also has many spo8club including volleyball basketball cricket Kho Kho and many others it also has a medium-sized swimming pool so yeah campus wise it is pretty cool and you can have a good social life every one is friendly and supportive .great nature so there is no problem in social life security is tight so no fighting I have witnessed in 3 years so you can decide it's good or bad
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
