I AM A STUDENT OF ZAKIR HUSSAIN DELHI COLLEGE ATTRACTED BY ITS GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE, BETTER CONNECTIVITY FOR THE COLLEGE AND NEW ACADEMIC BUILDING FOR THE STUDENTS I APPRECIATE THE THE QUALITY OF TEACHERS THEY ARE PROVIDING IN THE COLLEGE HOWEVER I EXPRESS THE DISSATISFACTION WITH THE CANTEEN AND THE FEST THAT WERE NEVER HELD IN THE COLLEGE IN OUTSIDE ARE ALL OF THEM ARE IN AUDITORIUM ONLY AND NO INTR COLLEGE FEST HELD SO FAR
Course Curriculum Overview :
THE COLLEGE ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE WEAKER SECTION OF THE SOCIETY OF THE PEOPLES THE COLLEGE BETTER SYSTEM OF READING AND LEARNING EVEN FOR BLIND PERSONS AND THE COLLEGE HOLDS SOME CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES FROM TIME TO TIME ACADEMIC FEES FOR BCOM ARE ALSO NOT HIGH THAT NO ONE HAS PAY EXAMS ARE HELD SEMESTER WISE NOT SO TOUGH BUT IF ONE HAS ATTENTIVE AND FOLLOW DAILY FEW HOURS OF STUDY WILL GET GOOD MARKS

I HAVE OPTED FOR THE INTERNSHIP OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE UNDER A CA FIRM AS A ACCOUNTING INTERN WHERE I HAVE LEARNED THE FILING OF GST MAKING RECORDS FOR THE EXCEL SHEETS AND WORKING ON TALLY SOFTWARE MAINTAINING RECORDS AND BOOKKEEPING DAILY DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES BANK RECONCILIATION AND PREPARATION OF VOUCHER FOR THE SALES AND PURCHASES MATCHING THE BALANCE SHEET
Placement Experience :
NO PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND VERY FEW CHANCES IN THE BCOM PROGRAM TO GET A JOB MOST OF THE COLLEGE STUDENTS AFTER BCOM ARE WORKING IN PVT SECTORS COLLEGE HAS NO ROLE IN PROVIDING JOBS TO THE STUDENTS AND NOTHING NO RECRUITERS COME INTO THE COLLEGE FOR BCOM AS FAR I KNOW PERCENTAGE DEPENDS FOR SELECTION IN PLACEMENT BUT DEPENDS UPON COMPANY MY PLAN TO PURSUE MBA FROM A GOVT COLLEGE TO GET BETTER JOB PLACEMENT
Campus Life :
NO FEST HELD IN THE COLLEGE SO FAR AS I KNOW IN THE THREE YEARS SOCIAL LIFE IS AVERAGE IF YOU MAKE FRIENDS THEN IT'S GOOD TO EXPLORE THERE. THERE IS NO HOSTEL FACILITY IN THE COLLEGE NO SPORTS ACTIVITIES NO FAIRS NO INTRA-CAMPUS ACTIVITIES NO SOCIAL CLUBS INSTEAD WASTE OF TIME SOCIETIES ARE OPERATING IN THE COLLEGE FROM SO MANY TIMES AND NOTHING ELSE

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
