I got good marks in JEE mains and decent marks in JEE advance and I didn't want to drop out of JEE so I decided to join college based on my JEE mains score...I fill the form for JAC counseling and since the beginning, I have wanted to join DTU only as in comparison with all colleges Under JAC counseling DTU has better placement stats, campus size, alumni network, good peer group, and qualified professors. The workload in DTU is very low you can get plenty of time to pursue your passion or work in any side hustle for yourself just because it is a tier 1 college here the crowd is too good in terms of every field for every passion you follow or you want to explore you easily get societies related that where you can join that society and have fun and good learning If I have to talk about bad aspects of college then I think just because of 85% reservations for Delhi students in DTU it makes it very hard to join outside Delhi students
I chose the course Mathematics and Computing where I have to study maths in depth along with computing according to me there is a ratio of 60: 40 of the syllabus which is divided between maths and computing...as this is a new branch and available in very fewer colleges it is very high in demand and also it majorly available in IIT'S..and form this year BITS Pilani also include mathematics and computing branch in their curriculum which increases the popularity of this branch. The qualification of faculty in DTU in this brach is very good as recently I got to know the professor who takes our maths classes is from IIT DELHI where he completed his Btech and Mtech and after that he completed his PhD from IIT BOMBAY...so apart from maths classes we also get to learn some life lessons or their experiences of handling so much pressure when he doing their degrees from IITs...
I have not opted for any internship yet but some of my seniors do, if I have to describe them then...He got an on-campus internship with a stipend of 40k per month and there is a DSA round an interview round the entry-level students filtered with their CGPA so you need to maintain at least 9 CGPA in college to get a campus internship.
The Biggest Fest of DTU is ENGIFEST and believe me, it was a crazy fest it was conducted in February and the approx footfall in all 3 days was approx 1.5 lack and the artists who performed in the fest were Shreya Ghoshal, Talwinder, Dj Brook and many more... There are approx. one lack of books available in the library and anyone can access that with their college ID card and if you want to study in the library then you can study from morning 9 AM to Night 10 PM on normal days and Semester Exams the library is open from 9 AM TO 6 AM (next day)... The sports complex of DTU is too big where you get a separate cricket ground, football ground, long tennis ground, kabbadi ground, and tennis indoor ground and also there is a good facility available for chess players... The rent of PG near DTU is approx. 10k per month with sharing where Mess is included and if you calculate other expenses so approx. 16-17k per month is a range.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
