It the second best college in Nagpur in terms of academics, placements and cutoff, VNIT being no 1.You can get admission in this college through Mht-cet or Jee mains. The cutoff varies according to branches. The cutoff for Cse through Mhtcet is around 96-98 percentile and through Jee Mains it is around 96 Percentile. The bad aspects of College is the small campus, nothing else. But you get direct access to nagpur city as the college is in City and not outside city. I prepared for Jee Mains to get admission in this college and got it just on the basis of exam percentile and their is no other criteria or rounds.
The course curriculum is decided by the college itself and it is updated accordimg to the new needs in the market. Ut is not out dated like the rtmnu university. College is focused on Academics. Teachers are very helpful and we can complain and change the teacher if we want. Students with income less than 2 lakh and a good score can get tfws scholarship and others can get scholarship according to their caste. Term exams are conducted twice a year. And they are quite tough, compared to other colleges in Nagpur. Teachers are highly qualified and we have to give feedback as well. Fee hike is their but once you get admission the hike won't be for you in upcoming years it will be for new admissions.
You can get internship easily if you are good at coding and academics. I am in first year so i haven't applied for any internship as of now. But the seniors have guided us about it and it is possible to get a good internship and a good stipend as well. The highest stipend was around 1.5 lakh this year, details are available on the internet.
Campus placements are quite good compared to other colleges in Nagpur. Their are Mass recruiters as well, so it you are good at coding and academics you can easily get a job. It is not tough ti get a job here. And if you don't get a job, you can upskill yourself, which will definitely get you a good job. The highest package this year was around 40 lakhs, good companies are part of placement, you can get it on internet. Average Package is around 7 lakhs. Highest is always great like 40-50 lakhs. Almost most of the students who are focused get placed. My plan after degree is to work in a good MNC or do a post graduation of MBA from IIM's or Mtech from IIT's. Anything lower than that as a post graduation is almost a degradation of yourself after Rcoem.
Their are many clubs such as painting, dancing, music, art, spiritual, reef, robotics, Technical, coding and various other clubs. Many events are held continuously throughout the year. Hotel is given on merit basis of the semester exams. Fess is around 70000 per year and mess good is great, it is very healthy and tasty. Library is open everyday from 8am to 10pm except Sunday it is closed and on Saturday it is 8 to 5. Books are always available for free. Their is digital library as well, high speed internet is for everyone. Students run a SRC club which handles all the other clubs and the main events held in college like the fest pratishruti, in which their is dj night, concert, traditional day and various other things. College supports in extra curricular activities and sports as well.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
