- The college building is outstanding with five floors.
- The sports ground is also the best among all of DU colleges.
Dislikes
- The behaviour of administration is jot good.
- The canteen is not good.The variety of food is not there.
Remarks :
It is one of the founding colleges of Delhi University and is considered one of the best for my course. Also, it is in the north campus area which is also the best in all of DU campuses. I love this college because of its research atmosphere too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is highly qualified they are one of the best in the DU circuit. There are a lot of scholarships to apply for. It all depends on the students. Professors also emphasis that the students should participate in different competitions to enhance their CVs.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes. I have done my internship in the college. Got 10K as a stipend. It was a great experience learned a lot of things about different aspects of organic analysis. Love it to the core. I enjoy doing work in my research lab.
Placement Experience :
Placements are the best in our college for commerce students. But it's none of my concern as my course is good for higher studies too. Rest placement cell is there in our college. It takes care of students.
Campus Life :
One of the best campus life can be found here. We have everything from the best eateries to the best cafes. Anyone they are a student of North campus can say that the best college life can only be found here.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
