I have heard that Ambedkar University is good for BA students and I was not wrong the university is really good when it comes to teaching but has no cultural life whatsoever. I had to give CUET and meet the minimum criteria mentioned on University website to get admission. Everything else was pretty easy.
I'm an avid history fan, ancient history always intrigues me hence I wanted to further proceed with history in my college lufe. The faculty is well-trained and knows exactly what they are teaching. When it comes to academic life, AUD is the best in my opinion. The exams were held at the end of the semester by the faculty itself and not the college, giving us the freedom to choose our slot by discussing with the professors. The fee is pretty high for a semester and can be overwhelming to a few people.
I'm doing an internship from Intersnshala but the college does provide internship opportunities from time to time and the seniors provide opportunities too like modelli and bodyguard stuff.
I'm not sure about the placements as I have not talked to any alumni about their job experience, for myself I'm gonna leave the college after graduation and go for my master's in ancient history in some other college with a better job opportunity.
The campus life is pretty dull at times, we don't have a fest but we do have Diwali events and Holi events which are pretty good honestly. For our bookworms we have a library with an abundance of books and a reading room to read in peacefully, sadly the sports life is pretty dead too, although you can play basketball on the basketball court and cricket on the ground, there is no official sports club. But we do have clubs for singing, dancing, literature and arts. There is a hostel but only for girls which is associated with IGDTUW's hostel.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
