Remarks :
I chose this college because this college is one of the best colleges at Delhi University and is best known for the science facilities and faculty available here. There was no group discussion or personal interview for admission. Admission was cutoff-based.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course provides you with a wide range of career opportunities and options. All the faculty are good and use modern technology to provide quality education and interactive sessions. The is quite considerable and various scholarships like INSPIRE etc. are available for EWS students in college as well as at Delhi University.
Placement Experience :
Placements are provided to students based on the skills required by the company. Internship and placement fairs are organized annually where students sit for placement in various companies and get placed. However, placement rate is not high.
Campus Life :
The best part of college life is getting into various societies and clubs for personal development as well as professional also. Library facilities have been improved drastically and proper air conditioner and ventilation are there in the reading room. The hostel is available for both boys and girls and the facilities are very good. I was part of NCC which is the best part of my college life.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
