Likes
- The infrastructure is amazing, the campus has a lot of greenery. Moreover, the hostels rooms are air-conditioned so there is mild relief during the arid summers of Punjab.
- The crowd here is fabulous. A lot of talented people excelling in all fields can be found here. There's a lot of room to learn from others and constantly be better.
Dislikes
- The reimbursement policy is not student-friendly and the administration can be unresponsive at times.
- The college is very far from the city, and therefore students don't have a lot of opportunities to travel and explore the city outside the campus.
Remarks :
RGNUL Patiala is allotted through the counselling procedure after you clear the CLAT Exam. NLUs are allotted according to your rank and your preference list. My rank was 817 in CLAT, and therefore RGNUL was allotted to me. I preferred RGNUL because of its proximity to Delhi, its infrastructure, and its versatile crowd (RGNUL has the least domicile reservation when compared to all the other NLUs).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I preferred BA LLB (Hons) because of the job security that it offers. Law, as a professional course, offers a plethora of opportunities- litigation, corporate, ADR, and judiciary. The faculty at RGNUL is highly qualified and decently approachable. There are two semesters in a year and one semester consists of mid-term and end-term examinations with medium difficulty levels. The fee (hostel included) is 250000 per annum. Besides, the college does not adequately reimburse the students for the costs incurred during moot court competitions so participating and travelling during competitions is an added cost. There are provisions for SC/ST and EWS scholarships. Merit-based scholarships can only be availed in the 5th year of college.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship cell offers maximum internship opportunities starting from 3rd year, though 1st and 2nd year students also get internships through the cell. These opportunities primarily include law firms and chambers of Advocates at the High Court and Supreme Court. I interned with an advocate at district court after my first semester, and this was not provided by the internship cell.
Placement Experience :
The college has a vibrant judiciary culture, and therefore not many students sit for placements. Students get placed at Ernst and Young, Trilegal, Saraf and Partners, Khaitan and Co. The average package is 15 lakh per annum. Many students opt for the judiciary and go abroad for higher studies.
Campus Life :
A 4-day Sports Fest 'Zelus' is held every year at RGNUL in March. A lot of colleges participate and students have a lot of fun. Students have access to all the major journals and databases such as SCC, Manupatra, Hein Online, and EPW, and a great diversity of books and journals are available in the library. All classrooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with smartboards. RGNUL has its own Premier League RPL for cricket lovers. There's a football ground, basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball court on the campus. Students participate in inter-college sports fests. There are several Committees and Centres run by students hosting events and seminars. The prominent ones are the Moot Court Committee, Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR), RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR), and Centre for Business Laws and Taxation (CBLT). There is a policy of compulsory accommodation in the hostel. Hostels are pretty clean and hygienic. The mess food is largely manageable and hygienic.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
