Ramanujan college is affiliated with the University of Delhi (DU), And DU is the best university for B.Com so this was the main reason for me to choose Ramanujan College. To get admission to Ramanujan College or any other college of DU first we have to take the CUET exam(with the subject combination which is required for the course), the cuet result is out we have to fill DU CSAS portal where we have to select the course and college preferences, and the results will be announced in 3 rounds. I got selected in 2nd round. The cutoffs will based on categories. There will be no further interviews. The selection will be based on your Cuet score.
I opted for B.com because I am from a commerce background as I completed 12th with commerce and in the future, I want to start my own business. So studying B.com will help me to know about various business terms. Our teachers are well qualified for their job. and their teaching methods are amazing. In our college, the exams happen on time and the difficulty level is moderate. The fee structure of our college is very minimal As the collegeis funded by UGC. The fees of different courses in our college vary from Rs.17000 to Rs.33500 annually, and the fee for pwd students is 170 annually for all the courses except B.voc. The fee for B.voc is 4800. Our college provides scholarships for the students who need it and the scholarship will reduce their fees by 50%.

The placements & job opportunities in our college are very good. The placement cell of our college invites different companies to come and select deserving candidates. The eligibility criteria to sit in the job interview is to get a 7 GPA. The few visited recruiters and no. of offers made are Google, KPMG, and CHEGG. the highest in 2023 was 21.3 lakhs and the average package in 2023 was 5lakhs The percentage of students getting placements is approx 30%. My plans after getting the degree are to do an MBA from IIM or FMS
The social life of our college is very good. The college organizes the annual fest every year. There are lots of other societies or clubs for dancing, singing, acting, etc which a student can join according to their preference. These societies also organize different fests and events throughout the year. Our college does not provide hostel facilities but there are lots of private hostels and PGs available near our college which are very affordable.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
