- I think the atmosphere of the college is pretty lively, and that's a great thing about this institution.
- The infrastructure of the college is pretty good, moreover as the institute is over 100 years old, the quality it still has is exceptional.
Dislikes
- I think there should be more internship opportunities to help students get real-life experience.
- According to me, there should be some improvement in the canteen, as there aren't much options available there.
Remarks :
It is one of the most reputed colleges in our city, and that's what attracted me to join it. I applied for the B.Sc program online mode and got selected on a merit basis. There was no group discussion, interview, or written test for admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason behind choosing this course what that after doing my 12 with the nonmedical stream, a B.Sc seemed like the best option to me. The faculty team of our college has some highly qualified professionals, and they helped us immensely. Exams were conducted on a semester basis, and before them, MST was organized by the college.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't applied for any internship. But as we spent a major part of our degree at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I learned a bit about writing and did some part-time work in companies giving remote opportunities.
Placement Experience :
I was enrolled in a course that doesn't have anything related to placements. However, our college administration used to organize a variety of workshops and seminars to make us aware of the variety of opportunities available to us.
Campus Life :
It was probably the best thing for me, as I had a lot of friends from my previous school in the same college. We had a lot of fun throughout the college, as there were a lot of spots on the campus to hang around. Also, the Lohri festival and regular cultural fests were a great part of life in Scd government college.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
