- Some students just focus on politics and due to which there are incidents of violence in Ramjas College.
- Some professors who just considered some students as only those are present in the class.
Remarks :
During our time, there is not any type of interview or group discussion. But now, one has to go through the CUET exam to get admission to Delhi University. Factors that led to choosing this college are brand value, experienced faculty members, and vibrant students all across the country.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Ramjas College BCom Hons program is well regarded for its comprehensive curriculum that covers essential commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, GST, etc. Academically rigorous, the program balances theoretical and practical approaches through projects and extracurricular activities. The faculty is highly qualified, many with PhDs, and utilizes a mix of traditional lectures and interactive teaching methods, including case studies and discussions. The fee structure is affordable compared to other colleges and private institutions. Financial support is available through merit-based scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have opted for internship with FinChase through the placement cell of Ramjas College, Pinnacle. This internship is related to the Finance and Marketing domain and the startup-based company offers enriching learning for its interns. I worked in the defense industry and prepared a report on it.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell provides placement opportunities, however, you don't need to get placed in campus placement. It depends on you. And the average CTC for placement is 600000. Only a few companies do mass hiring such as Deloitte, HCL Tech, and some startup-based companies. Most companies don't go for marks criteria, they just consider your basic knowledge, communication skills and your passion for learning and growth.
Campus Life :
It provides a lively and engaging campus life enriched with a variety of social activities and clubs to diverse interests. The college hosts "Mosaic", its annual cultural fest in April or May showcasing talents in music, and arts, which adds vibrancy to campus life. Sports facilities cater to various interests, promoting active participation in inter-college competitions.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
