- I like the central library because of it vast collection of books and a quite place to study
- There is no uniform for b.tech students.

- The syllabus is little bit old they should update as per today's requirements
- Lab and workshops are not well maintained
Remarks :
I picked Shankaracharya Technical Campus for my B.Tech after not doing so well in the JEE . It's one of the best engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh, just below the top ones like IITs and NITs. What drew me to this college was its good placement, events and lots of fun activities outside of classes, which seemed like a great way to get a well-rounded education. To get addmission in this , you have to pass the CGPET (Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test). But the thing that I don't like about this college was its outdated syllabus. It felt like it wasn't keeping up with what today's job market needs. It would be better if they updated it.Overall, Shankaracharya Technical Campus is a top choice for engineering in Chhattisgarh, offering lots of chances to learn and grow. Despite the old syllabus, the focus on getting students good jobs and the fun activities make it a great pick for anyone looking to do B.Tech in CG.
Course Curriculum Overview :
SSTC Engineering College in Chhattisgarh offers a bunch of courses in different fields like civil, mechanical, electrical, and computer science. In the computer science area, there are many specialization like AI/ML, cyber security, data science and more, which are pretty cool and match what's needed in today's job market.The teachers here are really experienced, with most having worked for at least 15 to 20 years, and some even longer, like more than 30 years! I'm studying B.Tech CSE(AIML), and the total for the whole course is around 320,000 rupees. That's a bit pricey, but the good thing is they offer help like the post matric scholarship for technical students and something called the TFW (tuition fee waiver) scheme to lighten the load. In terms of exams, we have two class tests (CTs) and one final exam every semester, and they're not too hard, just the right level of challenge to push us without overwhelming us.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't pursued any internship yet. However, in our second year, numerous internship opportunities were presented to us, originating from various sources such as Yhills, Amegrad, and the college itself. While most internships are paid, some also offer stipends based on performance. Notably, there are several training cum internship programs available, comprising one month of training, two months of internship, and an additional month dedicated to group tasks and project-building activities.
Placement Experience :
According to the college, the placements are quite impressive, with an average package of 5.76 LPA. In 2023, Amazon offered the highest package of 33 LPA, though the highest package bagged was 9 LPA. This indicates ample opportunities for those with the right skills. Last year, 880 students secured placements. Some recruiting companies include TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and occasionally Amazon. Additionally, some students opt to prepare for the GATE exam. To be eligible for higher packages, students need no backlogs throughout their academic years and must maintain an average GPA of at least 7.5. This ensures that only the most consistent and high-performing students are considered for top-tier offers, typically from renowned companies with rigorous selection processes.
Campus Life :
Our college spans 27 acres, featuring numerous small gardens, a large playground, classic infrastructure, a central library, a gym, a canteen, various social clubs, and a prominent Lord Shiva temple at the campus entrance. These amenities contribute to an excellent campus life. The central library boasts a vast collection of books, easily accessible with the four library cards provided to each student. Regarding events, various sports and cultural fests occur every 1 to 2 months, organized either by seniors or the college. The annual fest, SAMVID, renowned in central India, takes place in March. Now talking about hostel, the first-year hostel is well-maintained, but the senior hostel requires better upkeep. The annual hostel fee is around ?60,000, and while the food quality is not outstanding, it is acceptable for the price. Additionally, there are many nearby flats and PGs, with an average rent for a 2BHK being around ?6,000 to ?7,000 per month.

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
