It's a good government college and under DU. The course that I wanted i.e. Food Technology is available in this college. And I must say this is the best college for students pursuing food technology, in the whole of DU. CUET is the entrance exam through which one can enter the college. There is no group discussion or interview as such for the admission process. The entrance exam is the only must.
My course - food technology - is an overall very interesting and upcoming one. The new curriculum i.e. the NEP has made it a 4 years course which now offers many benefits. Since it's a government college the fees are reasonable and affordable. Each year fees are around 22k to 30k depending upon the course. There are also some scholarship schemes where the students who need the scholarship get around a good amount of scholarship.
Since I'm in my second year, I have not yet done any internship. But the seniors of the college, very many of them have got quite good internships at good companies. Since I'm a good tech student, I can tell that many of my super seniors are placed in big companies like PepsiCo, Britannia etc. The college does provide opportunities, but one needs to be capable of those opportunities.
The placement cell of the college is quite active. And it conducts various internship fairs quite frequently. Online int fairs are also conducted frequently. Various companies take part in these. Also, the teachers have quite good connections and can sometimes refer the students.
Overall the campus life is quite awesome I would say! There are such a wide variety of societies and thus so many extracurricular activities that one can take part in and be a part of. Though I do not live in the hostel what I have heard from my friends, it is an overall nice hostel with all the facilities.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
